Bielle rhums are very sought-after and rum lovers are in for a treat
London, UK (PRWEB) September 30, 2009
Liqueurs de France has acquired UK distribution rights for the top French West Indies rum producer Bielle based on Marie-Galante. The distillery produces a number of aged rhums agricole (defined as rhum being distilled from the fermented juice of pressed sugar cane (called 'vessou') and not inferior molasses) as well as cocktail-friendly white rums.
Liqueurs de France will initially supply three products, Bielle Rhum Blanc bottled at 'Island strength' 59% abv, Bielle Rhum Vieux Hors d'Age, an unfiltered rhum aged for seven years in oak casks and, in a move sure to please party organizers, Rhum Blanc as a three litre 'bag in a box'.
"Bielle rhums are very sought-after and rum lovers are in for a treat," said Liqueurs de France's director Ian Hutton "We believe that we are the first UK importer to offer rum in the bag in a box format, although it is hugely popular in the rum-producing countries. It is ideal for large events."
Bielle rhums are available in one-litre and 50cl formats with recommended shelf prices from GBP 30 to GBP 80 (for the three litre bag in a box). Private customers can purchase the products online directly from the company website Rum Runners. Trade enquiries are welcome.
