Parents tell me our classes are the highlight of their child's week.
Solihull, West Midlands (PRWEB UK) 4 October 2013
A Harrogate baby, toddler and pre-school music group has been shortlisted as one of the very best family-focused businesses in the Harrogate district as part of the Mumbler Awards in association with Wonder Media.
Rhythm Time’s children’s music classes run by local music franchise owner, Lynne O’Malley, is in the running to scoop the top prize in the ‘Favourite Class or Activity’ category. The awards form part of Harrogate’s popular parenting site, The Harrogate Mumbler.
The classes, which run throughout the week at various venues across Harrogate and the surrounding area, have been created by Kathy Doolan (music teacher and graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama) to enhance a child’s development. The fun, multi-sensory children’s music classes also aim to develop a child’s confidence, creativity and co-ordination.
Now Rhythm Time in Harrogate will go through to the final vote with winners announced at the awards gala dinner at The Old Swan on 8th November.
“We’re so thrilled that parents have nominated us for these awards,” says Lynne who bought her Rhythm Time music franchise over seven years ago. “Parents tell me our classes are the highlight of their child’s week, so it’s so exciting to be recognised in this way. I’d love for us to win the award and show that children genuinely benefit from what we do,” she added.
