Springfield, NJ (PRWEB) April 12, 2012
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, 9 percent of NJ residents are out of work and many more are struggling to survive with the cost of living continuously on the rise. As longtime members and supporters of the motorcycle community, Rider Insurance and the Bleiwise Family see how these conditions have negatively affected riders, motorcycle dealerships, as well as the industry as a whole and feel a responsibility to do whatever can be done to try to turn things around.
The program has been seeded with $25,000 in foundation funding to start. It includes a Lead & Safety Certification Training Package for Renovation, Repair & Painting Contractors, a Computer & Job Search Training Course, as well as Educational Grants. All of the courses will be run through the County Colleges of New Jersey. Rider Works details, as well as other free resources, can be found at http://www.rider.com/riderworks.
In addition to “Rider Works,” Rider Insurance will continue to support individuals and organizations in their efforts to raise money for charitable causes and motorcycle safety awareness through the Rider Insurance Bleiwise Family Foundation and general corporate donations and sponsorships throughout the riding season. If you are planning a motorcycle safety awareness or charity motorcycle event, please contact events(at)rider(dot)com.
