Dan Davenport was named senior vice president of global operations. A company co-founder, Davenport had been vice president of operations. In his new role, Davenport will continue to have responsibility for the company’s finance, operations and service delivery teams, but will additionally lead the company’s international expansion – a rapidly growing segment for the company given its success with Fortune 1,000 customers.

Karen Stevens was promoted to vice president of practice strategy. In this new position, Stevens will play a critical role in the development of RiseSmart’s enterprise HR solutions. Stevens, formerly director of client services, will now lead the team responsible for methodology development in all of RiseSmart’s practice areas ensuring that the company continues to lead the industry with the most current and best of breed human capital management practices. Additionally, Stevens’ team will continue to develop best practices for HR leaders as they tackle career management and career transition challenges for their employees.
Joshua Barlow, formerly director of operations, is now vice president of U.S. operations at RiseSmart. In this new role Barlow will continue to grow RiseSmart’s business by continuously driving effectiveness, solution excellence, and customer satisfaction rates through process improvements and team building as well as new capabilities, tools, and products. With an expansive, senior-level background in professional services delivery, Barlow combines technical, business and client-facing skills to understand and meet the changing needs of companies nationwide. “I look forward to continuing to work with a variety of teams ranging from client services to technology development to product management with the common goal of driving change and to continue making innovation and quality the cornerstone of RiseSmart,” said Barlow.
Former UpMo Vice President of Product Rob Garcia has been named vice president of products at RiseSmart.
