Fairlawn, Ohio (PRWEB) April 18, 2013
Michigan businesses now can get local support from one of the nation’s top risk management companies. Risk International has opened its first Michigan office. The new branch in central Michigan is the firm’s third location in the Midwest, joining offices in Cleveland and Columbus.
“We have been serving clients in Michigan for years, and we’ve seen tremendous interest in and rising demand for our services,” said RI President and CEO, Michael D. Davis. “It’s time that we make a long-term commitment to the region by dedicating a local team to serve our growing client base.”
Risk International continues to grow at a brisk pace, providing risk management consulting, outsourced risk management, claims mitigation, loss prevention, claims recovery and due diligence services. In the first 100 days of 2013, the company had already doubled its new business sales from 2012. With the new Michigan office, Risk International is poised to serve even more businesses in the Midwest, particularly in the region’s dominant automotive, manufacturing and chemical industries.
The central Michigan office is Risk International’s fourth new location since 2009, following the addition of offices in London, Singapore and Columbus.
David Anderson, a former senior counsel with Risk International, will become managing director of the Michigan office.
“Dave was an experienced, knowledgeable and trusted team member of Risk International from 2000 to 2007,” said RI Executive Vice President and COO, Kirk N. Walsh. “We’re excited to have the opportunity to work with him again. And we know our Michigan clients will be served well under his leadership.”
