Moving and honest, 'From the Curb to a Castle' presents a gripping account of life as a homeless man. Wessely hopes to inspire readers to seek a meaningful relationship with Jesus.

Nothing inside of author Robert Wessely prepared him for homelessness. Alone and feeling hopeless, Wessely wondered how his life had taken him here and how he would rebuild his life.

In his new memoir, “From the Curb to a Castle” (published by WestBow Press), Wessely recounts the days he spent on the streets, reflecting on what brought him to this state, and shares how letting Jesus Christ into his heart eventually saved him from homelessness.

Wessely was raised in a loving home with two parents and aspired to design and build golf courses, but when his friend introduced him to crystal meth, Wessely became addicted. Though he had the support of his loving wife and children, the addiction sent Wessely, and sometimes his family, out into the streets.

One special Christmas Eve, Wessely and his family met a man named Chuck, who opened their hearts and minds to God. With Chuck’s help, Wessely managed to rebuild his life and get his family off of the streets.
