Robotic Surgery: Is it really the next best thing in medical technology or is it technology that came too soon? Recently Herb Greenberg of CNBC Wall Street spoke with Dr. François Blaudeau of badrobotsurgery.com and Loni Liss of legalcommunications.com about their campaign centered on educating consumers on the potential risks of robotic surgery.

Robotic surgery is a hot topic these days and according to a March 19 CNBC report more information may be surfacing giving credence to many consumer claims that the da Vinci Surgical Robot has caused them serious injury and even death. The CNBC article highlights both Intuitive’s massive sales growth while at the same time drawing questions about the company’s aggressive sales tactics and potentially unsubstantiated safety claims.
