Bellingham, WA (PRWEB) April 7, 2008 -- Gamespeek podcast takes their videogame podcast into a new generation with episode 80, their first video podcast. Listeners to their two year show can now see the faces behind the news, jokes and JToFs.

"It's about time we've jumped into doing video podcasts," said Gamespeek Co-Host Lauren Miller. "I hope this provides some more interaction with our current listeners and hopefully garner some new ones, too!"

The hosts of Gamespeek have made quite a home all over the internet with their pages on Facebook, MySpace, Gamespeek Web site and forum.

"I'm very excited to join the Gamespeek crew, we all had a blast shooting the first episode," said Lacy Bevis, the new Gamespeek camera operator. "I can't wait to see what we do next."

Keeping with a similar format the show features Gamespeek's signature segment 'Juicy Tidbits of Fun' aka JToFs (Jay-tawfs). This week's JToFs feature two weeks of Rock Band DLC with songs from Boston and "Stay Alive" from the hit game Portal.

Other news topics include:
Rock Band Wii Edition
Jack Thompson Bar Trial
What We've Been Playing

"I think we have interesting chemistry as a group and the video format will allow us to really show off who we are," said Gamespeek Co-Host Aaron Apple. "And the 10-minute length is much more appealing than the 40 minute old shows, especially to busy gamers these days."

Also introduced in the episode is Justin Dean as Gamespeek's special guest. He joins the hosts in a rapid fire round table Q&A on Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Nintendo Wii.

With the new format Gamespeek hopes to make waves in the videogame world.

"It's better in every way imaginable," said Gamespeek Co-Host Chris Palmer.

Intro music for this episode is provided by Anamanaguchi and their song Helix Nebula.
