Lawrence Vereen aka Maserati Black and younger brother Theodore Vereen aka Str8 Drop are a Washington, D.C. rap duo known as The Rock Mob. Together the group has been creating rhymes since they were children. Driven by a deep love for old school hip-hop, The Rock Mob puts out classic music instead of following trends. With an infusion of high energy dance songs coupled with edgy real life street depictions of urban decay, they are proving that you can be unique and get the attention you deserve.

To date, The Rock Mob has performed 375 shows in the U. S. and abroad, sharing the stage with numerous platinum recording artists including the Big Tymers, Field Mob, Juvenile, Rocko, Cee-Lo, and Pretty Ricky. With the release of four street certified mixtapes, The Rock Mob has a loyal following and is also the first rap group to be officially endorsed by the 100,000 member strong International Disc Jockey Trade Association.

The duo will be dropping three mixtapes this year leading up to the full length album “The Takeover” which is scheduled to be released on Round Table/SlaughterHouse Records. Production on the project will include beats by C-Note, TraBeats, J-Malice, and Str8 Drop.

The video for his single “Say Nun” is available for view now. The single is a Billboard #1 Indie song.
