An article recently posted by ABC News has confirmed the recent divorce of model Liberty Ross and “Snow White and the Huntsman” director, Rupert Sanders. This was due to the very public cheating scandal between Sanders and 22-year-old Twilight star, Kristen Stewart. Along with the divorce, Ross also filed for joint custody for their two children. This report only goes to show how infidelity can indeed shred families apart. In line with this, a new book titled Cuckold, authored by Roger Thompson, reveals an up-close and personal glimpse into the world of infidelity.

A no-holds-barred account, this book exposes the author’s experience with his own illicit affairs with women and what he has learned from his past. It also delves deep into the realization that indeed, public views on infidelity vary with time. A light, informative and humor-filled look at marriage, divorce and adultery not just in America but the whole world, Cuckold follows through how various cultures perceive adultery and the factors that influence such. Moreover, it relates how the technological era has affected people’s attitudes and family values, which significantly transformed society.

In today’s time, not only celebrities are experiencing the brunt of adultery. Even the simplest households become victims of this devastating act, thus leading to the sky-rocketing rate of divorce all over the world. What society needs to know about the dangers of adultery is etched within the pages of this book, which will hopefully enlighten those who should think twice before cheating on their spouses.
