On September 22, 2006 Barbara Perfetti, Chief Publisher and Managing Editor of Linden Bay Romance, announced during WMNF's morning show "Women in the Media" that she and partner Lori James are launching a new company, All Romance eBooks (ARe).

All Romance eBooks, which is due to open its virtual doors this November, will be dedicated to the sale of romance e-books. ARe customers will be able to search an on-line catalogue by sub-genre, title, author, or publisher then purchase and download their favorite novels. Secondary sorts will be available by best-selling, length, highest rated, and most recently added. Readers will have the ability to rate books that they purchase with regards to their "heat level" and overall enjoyment and will be rewarded with a free novel for every ten titles purchased.
