We can’t wait to open our doors to Louisiana’s brightest high school students on November 30.
New Orleans, LA (PRWEB) November 12, 2013
Audubon Nature Institute partners with The Patrick F. Taylor Foundation and New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA) to reward students’ exceptional work. The Taylor Plan motivates high school students to earn a state-funded, merit-based opportunity to further their education. Students earn college tuition by meeting core curriculum, standardized test scores and grade point average requirements in high school.
Taylor/Audubon Students (GPA 2.5 or above) may visit Audubon Aquarium of the Americas, Audubon Butterfly Garden & Insectarium, and New Orleans Museum of Art.
Taylor/Audubon Scholars (GPA 3.0 or above) may visit Audubon Aquarium of the Americas, Audubon Butterfly Garden & Insectarium, Audubon Zoo and New Orleans Museum of Art. Students are encouraged to make the most of Taylor Family Free Day by going to http://www.AudubonInstitute.org and viewing the chat and feed scheduled for November 30.
“We believe Audubon attractions are the best places for young people to learn about the wonders of nature,” said Audubon Nature Institute President and CEO Ron Forman. “We can’t wait to open our doors to Louisiana’s brightest high school students on November 30. We’re expecting great things from this exceptional group of students in the future.”
In the 2012/2013 school year, nearly 178,000 students across Louisiana earned Taylor Students and Scholars benefits, including memberships to Audubon attractions and New Orleans Museum of Art valued at more than $200 per student.
Please visit auduboninstitute.org/taylor for details. Students should check in at the membership window with their Taylor Card for admittance into the attractions.
