Ron Paul Challenged to Explain Supposedly Racist Remarks in Previous Newsletter

While Ron Paul is leading in all polls for the Republican presidential race, he has created quite a buzz on the Internet. In fact, if Internet popularity had anything to do with the presidential race, a victory for Ron Paul may have been a long gone conclusion.

(PRWEB) July 13, 2007 -- Not only is Ron Paul attracting Republicans and independents voters, but his stance on foreign affairs has really begun to attract some liberals. The latest to be drawn to his foreign policy are the TCOOO (Taking Care of Our Own) bloggers at www.rastatravel.com. However, they are not quite ready to be die hard Ron Paul supporters. At least not until Ron Paul can give a clear explanation of some alleged racist remarks that were printed in his newsletter over a decade ago.

Although Ron Paul has attributed such statements to a ghostwriter for his newsletter, TCOOO believes that he still owes the American people an explanation as nothing should have been printed in his newsletter that he did not approve of. They compare Ron Paul's explanation of the alleged racist remarks to the excuse given by Jennifer Lopez after she used the N word in a song and said she was not responsible because the song was written by fellow hip hop artist Jah Rule.

"I am not buying the ghostwriter story, that's some JLO type of excuse", said Vineyard of the TCOOO crew.

According to TCOOO who usually focus on issues affecting the Black community, they actually have a strong liking for Ron Paul and his polices. TCOOO's mission is to introduce what they believe are great Republican or independent candidates to the Black Community, which in turn they hope will force the Democratic Party to realize that the Black vote cannot and should not be taken for granted.

TCOOO not only blog at www.rastatravel.com but they also blog on the popular MySpace networking site at www.blog.myspace.com/tcooo. After each Republican debate, they blog about which candidates they found to be the most impressive and would like to see as the next leader of the United States. So far, in TCOOO's opinion, Ron Paul has been the most impressive of all the candidates, both on the Democratic and the Republican sides.

TCOOO said they have written to Ron Paul everywhere they can find him on the Internet including his MySpace profile but as yet to get a reply. They are hoping, however, that maybe in the next Republican debate Ron Paul will give a clear and concise explanation of the past alleged negative statements toward the Black Community.
