From architects to homeowners and everyone in between, protecting insulation and creating proper ventilation has been a universal concern for all, but one without a universal solution

bpEnnovations along with building industry- leader Parksite have recently introduced the AERIX Roof Ventilation System by announcing their exclusive distribution and marketing partnership. The AERIX Roof Ventilation System is a patented cost-effective solution to a very common construction problem related to roof insulation and ventilation. The AERIX system answers strong demand by general contractors, framers, roofers and insulation installers throughout the U.S. and Canada for a more effective roof ventilation system that is easier to install than existing marketplace products.
“From architects to homeowners and everyone in between, protecting insulation and creating proper ventilation has been a universal concern for all, but one without a universal solution,” said Kirk T. Moore, CEO of bpEnnovations. “I believe we have created a universal solution to these problems with AERIX. It is more effective, can be used with all types of insulation, and is easier to install than any other product that has thus far tried and failed to address this scalable problem.” Moore explained that AERIX provides full roof ventilation whereas existing roof ventilation products only provide partial ventilation. Additionally, AERIX is much easier to install than existing marketplace products as it is installed before the roof is sheathed as opposed to the majority of other products that are installed afterward to the underside of the roof deck. Ultimately the ease of installation will result in a great cost savings, which combined with the overall superior performance of the AERIX Roof Ventilation System will make it the industry standard.
"The AERIX Roof Ventilation System is another innovative building product that fits perfectly into our product offering and falls right in line with our history of solution-based products and will allow our customers to offer builders a better way to ventilate and insulate roofs," adds Jim Daniels, Vice President of New Products for Parksite.
AERIX consists of a preformed panel system made from 100% recycled plastic that adapts to all roof slopes and can be used with all types of insulation – including spray foam. The eave baffle vent component includes an insulation dam and vent channel to protect the insulation from wind washing and moisture while providing complete ventilation at the underside of the roof sheathing. A continuation panel interlocks with the eave baffle vent for extending the vent channel in low-sloped roofs with attics and cathedral ceiling applications providing an unobstructed path for airflow at the underside of the roof deck that allows moisture a path of escape from the roof assembly. The Aerix Eave Insulation Dam provides a dam for spray foam or fiber insulation in non-vented roof applications. AERIX is the first to provide a system for a ventilated spray foam roof assembly and is available for 16" or 24" Construction.
