The April issue of New Jersey Monthly recognized New Jersey’s top lawyers, and Victor A. Rotolo, founding attorney of The Rotolo Law Firm, was included in the list of New Jersey Super Lawyers for the seventh consecutive year.

Thomson Reuters, a U.S.-based company that provides business information services, rates lawyers nationwide and is responsible for the creation of the annual list of attorneys by state. The New Jersey list is published in New Jersey Monthly. This diverse, comprehensive and credible list is used by consumers and attorneys alike when searching for legal counsel. The selection process is rigorous and multi-phased wherein peer nominations and evaluations are combined with third-party research. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Only 5% of all New Jersey lawyers are named to this list by Thomson Reuters each year.

For Rotolo, being included in the list of New Jersey Super Lawyers recognizes his outstanding work in his firm’s primary fields of practice – divorce and family law, accidents and injuries, business litigation, as well as criminal defense.

Prior to becoming an attorney in 1982, Victor served as a police officer in the City of Elizabeth (Union County, NJ). Because of his police officer training and experience, Rotolo brings a unique, multifaceted legal perspective to his law practice. In a recent interview, Rotolo explained his involvement with both career paths by stating, “As a former Police Officer from the City of Elizabeth, I fought hard for the people who needed me, and I continue to fight hard today for each and every client who needs me.”

In addition to this distinction, Rotolo is also certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a civil trial attorney and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a forum that reserves membership to those attorneys that have won million and multi-million dollar settlements.

Furthermore The Rotolo Law Firm is recognized by peers and clients as an “AV” rated firm by Martindale-Hubbell, a long-standing legal authority on attorneys. Rotolo also has an Avvo ten-out-of-ten rating, which falls into their category of “superb.” Avvo is an unbiased rater of lawyers and doctors nationwide.

Perhaps the best assessment of Rotolo, however, is summed up by comments from one of his clients.

“The Rotolo Law Firm is the best choice for honest legal representation. Mr. Rotolo and his superior staff are compassionate, efficient professionals. They treat clients respectfully, as well as using their expertise to provide sound advice. Mr. Rotolo is perceptive and reliable; he followed up promptly with our intended plan. My friends and I recommend this law firm without any reservations.”

The eight-attorney firm has a combined experience pool of 80+ years. What separates Rotolo and this law firm from others is their unmatched preparation and hard work coupled with their care for those who trust them with matters of such importance.

Rotolo recently served as a judge at the 16th Annual Yale Mock Trial Invitational; is a member of the Board of Directors at the Anderson House, a well-respected halfway house serving women from all New Jersey counties; serves as a trial advocacy instructor at the Intensive Trial Advocacy Program at Hofstra School of Law; served as a member of the Supreme Court of New Jersey District XIII Ethics Committee for 2008-2009 and then as Vice-Chair in 2009-2010 with an appointment as Chair in 2010.

There is no doubt: when you are in need of an attorney, you need an attorney who brings this much experience and expertise to your case. For any legal situation, call Victor A. Rotolo at The Rotolo Law Firm.
