Round Rock’s first responders will give kids of all ages an opportunity for an up-close and personal look at the tools of their trade at the annual Public Safety Day event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 28, at Texas Baptist Children’s Home, 1101 N. Mays St.
Event-goers can get hands-on experience with police cars, fire trucks, EMS and SWAT vehicles. There will be specialized demonstrations by City of Round Rock police and firefighters. This event is free and open to the public.
The event will be held in conjunction with the Round Rock Kiwanis Club Pancake Day. This event runs from 7 a.m. to noon, also at the Texas Baptist Children’s Home.
