Vicki Freed, Senior Vice President of Sales for Royal Caribbean International visits Direct Line Cruises, their Northeast Partner of the Year.

Royal Caribbean Northeast Partner of the Year
This is a great and memorable day for all of us. Being awarded the Northeast Partner of the Year and having Vicki and Joanne here is one of the most gratifying occasions in DLC history.

The official announcement came three months earlier, but today Royal Caribbean International's executives came to NY to celebrate Direct Line Cruises being named their “Northeast Partner of the Year.”

Vicki Freed, Senior Vice President of Sales for Royal Caribbean International and Joanne Schimelman, the cruise line’s Vice President of Sales and National Accounts, flew in from Miami to mark the occasion. They were joined by Cyndi Cobb, Northeast Regional Sales Director and Louise Habrack, Business Development Manager. The red carpet was rolled out for their visit…quite literally.

The entire staff of Direct Line Cruises was on hand to greet the Royal Caribbean executives and enjoy a celebratory luncheon. Greg Coiro, CEO of Direct Line Cruises, graciously accepted a commemorative bottle of champagne from Ms. Freed. The bottle was designed and signed by iconic pop artist Romero Britto (Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas is home to the first Britto Gallery at sea).

“This is a great and memorable day for all of us. Being awarded the Northeast Partner of the Year and having Vicki and Joanne here is one of the most gratifying occasions in DLC history,” said Helen Coiro, founder and President of the agency. She then thanked Ms. Cobb and Ms. Habrack who she said were, “instrumental in guiding DLC and helping us to get where we are right now.”

The employees of Direct Line Cruise, proudly wearing t-shirts created for the day, enjoyed a Q&A session with Ms. Freed and Ms. Schimelman before they had to leave.
