Resolution Systems CEO, Barrett Riddleberger, teams up with ActionCoach of Greensboro, to answer local business owner’s questions on creating, hiring and leading a successful sales team.

ActionCoach Greensboro welcomed Resolution Systems, Inc. CEO, Barrett Riddleberger, as a guest speaker during a half day leadership workshop focused on strategies for increasing sales. Riddleberger, is uniquely skilled to help business leaders hire and develop premium sales talent due to his is expertise in behavioral, cognitive and motivational analysis as it relates to professional selling and sales leadership.

The workshop consisted of three sessions that highlighted the three building blocks for a company to position themselves for increased sales success. The session topics were as follows:

Riddleberger demonstrated how each one of these topics are integral pieces when creating a successful sales team within an organization. By creating a strong sales culture, you establish a solid base and support system for your new sales team. This is the step where you define success for your team and for the individuals on your team.

Session two focused on developing strategies for hiring a strong sales team. Riddleberger noted that a sales team does not succeed just because you have created a strong sales culture; your success will depend on the strength of the individuals inside of the team. Hiring the ‘right person’ for the role is just as important as defining the role. Every position—CEO, sales managers, customer service, outside sales—requires a certain set of characteristics and personality styles; determining what those are is greatly assisted through sales assessments and observation.

During the final session, Riddleberger discussed how creating a sales culture and hiring the right people for your team will only get you so far. The final building block is driving sales growth through coaching. For a team to prosper, it is important that they have a strong manager or leader that coaches them throughout the selling process.

Riddleberger concluded the workshop by highlighting how Resolution Systems and ActionCoach help organizations build winning teams and improve sales performance through assessments, sales coaching and sales training programs.
