Rufflets, a family-owned hotel in St. Andrews, has won Golf Tourism Scotland's Country House Hotel of the Year Award for 2010. This prestigious award is open to hotels and exclusive-use properties operating in rural areas that provide services to golf visitors in Scotland.
The award was one of 11 given out during Golf Tourism Scotland's annual Gold Standard Awards, held this year on the 11th of November. Other awards given out on the night include Golf Course of the Year, Caddiemaster of the Year and Golf Tour Operator of the Year. Having won the Country House Hotel award in 2008 and 2009, Rufflets successfully upheld the same high standards to win the award again for the third year in a row.
One of the oldest and most established country house hotels in Scotland, Rufflets offers a range of offers and golf breaks in St. Andrews, including assistance is arranging the all-important tee-times.
