G-NET Releases New Affordable Industrial Panel PC and Rugged Tablet PC Models

According to Gusz, over the past two years G-NET has experienced a big shift in focus from the consumer market over to the more specialized rugged and industrial computer market and these two new products are reaffirming that position. When asked about the differences between the G-NET Rugged Tablet PC and the handful of other tablet offerings on the market, Gusz said, "There are definitely some good choices out there for industrial and government sector clients, but one of the main differences is cost. It seems that any company focused on this market also feels it can price gouge for something that should be more reasonably positioned. Our Rugged Tablet PC is just as good, if not better then many of the units out there priced over $3,000 but our offering has a base price of only $2,199."
The G-NET Rugged Tablet PC in its base configuration includes a 1.2 GHz processor, 512mb of RAM, 40gb rugged hard drive, and a 10.4" sunlight readable touch screen monitor and is preloaded with Windows™ XP. The rugged enclosure is designed to protect the unit in harsh environments, from the vehicle to the battlefield.

The unit features a fully enclosed metal chassis, a 1.5 GHz CPU, 512mb of RAM and a 40gb hard drive.
