The 1998 Jeep Wrangler TJ was the featured project vehicle during a multi-episode build on Spike TV’s Extreme 4x4, a show that regularly performs ground-up projects to build vehicles for rugged, extreme off-roading. The giveaway will be conducted through the beginning of December 2012, and the winner will be randomly selected soon after that date.
The modified Jeep Wrangler TJ features a number of high-performance upgrades including catalytic converters that allows the vehicle to tackle various types of terrain, including hard-packed trails, muddy swamps, and loose desert sand, all while providing a comfortable on-highway driving experience. The Wrangler’s upgrades include G2 Dana 44 front and rear axle assemblies, a Rubicon Express 4.5 inch long arm lift kit, a WARN VR8000 winch, a set of Pro Comp Series 7089 alloy wheels in flat black finish, along with many other parts and equipment.
