Rusty Wallis Honda, a Dallas Honda dealer, recently received the Gold Star Status award from Honda corporate, and in doing so, became the first Honda dealership in the Metroplex to earn the award.
In order to achieve Gold Star Status, all technicians must be 100 percent Honda factory trained. This means that every technician in the Rusty Wallis Honda service shop has completed technical training through the Honda training facility, covering topics such as general service, electrical fundamentals, engine, air conditioning, brake systems, manual/auto transmission, steering and suspensions, as well as fuel and emissions.
“We are proud to earn this status,” Shop Manager Rich Starr said. “We recently made this a priority of ours, and it is quite a feat to accomplish.”
The Gold Star Status means several things to Rusty Wallis Honda customers, including the expectation that the technicians at its shop are the most knowledgeable Honda technicians in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Rusty Wallis Honda has received numerous awards in the past, including earning the coveted President’s Award for a record 7 times. The dealership will continue to strive for excellence in all aspects of customer service.
