Free Download Attached to This Release: Full Phatt Remix of Sa Dingding First Chinese Singer/Songwriter to Break into Western Market

LONDON (Business Wire EON/PRWEB ) July 15, 2007 -- Sa Dingding, has become the first Chinese singer/songwriter to cross over to Western markets with the release of her new album Alive at the beginning of July. The album has already been so well received by the music industry that Full Phatt has remixed the title track and she has recently met with Paul Oakenfold to discuss future projects.

Samples of tracks from the Alive album, visuals of this engagingly beautiful artist and more information can be found on the website at www.sadingding.co.uk. The website, which beautifully mirrors the artist, was developed by the award winning digital agency Strange www.strangecorp.com.

BWNewsImage539938.jpg Anyone who signs up for the mailing list on this website to be notified of future news and events will be able to receive the Full Phatt version of Alive for free. Full Phatt has worked with many major artists including Usher, Outkast and Christina Aguilera.

Known as The Best Dance Music Singer in her native China, Sa Dingding is a unique and hugely talented artist who combines different kinds of Eastern and Western music. The result is a powerful, sophisticated and entirely appealing sound. The track Alive, for example, contains Chinese Folk Music and Western electronica, overlaid with her strong, haunting voice that can be described as both pure and sexy.

Sa Dingding is signed to Universal records. Iain Snodgrass, Marketing Director said No other Chinese singer/songwriter has received the level of worldwide interest that Sa Dingding is generating. Sa Dingding is very special and well chosen to lead China onto the world stage.

As a product of modern China, Sa Dingding has developed a deep interest in the countrys minority religions, particularly Buddhism. This is reflected in the Alive album, which includes singing in the ancient language Sanskrit (the only artist in China to do so) and Tibetan. She plays several Chinese instruments, choreographs and has even created her own language where new words are formed from the emotions evoked by music.

Notes for Editors:

Born in Mongolia to a Mongolian mother and Chinese father, Sa Dingding developed a fascination for ethnic minority music at an early age. At 18, she released her debut album and earned recognition as The Best Dance Music Singer in China. Her interest in Buddhism, Dyana Yoga and Sanskrit has unleashed her rare creative talent and expanded her musical boundaries. In her own country Sa Dingding is a regular performer at prestigious events such as the MTV Style Gala and CCTV-MTV Video Music Awards.
