Sabeus Inc., a developer of fiber optic components and subsystems for telecommunications, distributed sensor arrays for wind-turbine blade monitoring and oilfield sensing applications, and acoustic sensing arays for surveillance applications announces the availability of the new generation of Precision Advantage(TM) high performance FBG-based in-line filters for enhanced wavelength selectivity.

With the deployment of 40G and 100G accelerating, Sabeus has scaled up manufacturing operations to increase production of their low insertion loss FBG-based filters. These include Gain Flattening (GFF), notch, passband, ASE suppression, and tilt filters, and 50, 25 and 12.5 GHz DWDM filters and filter arrays. As an OEM-supplier, Sabeus “private labels” FBG-based products for customer equipment including laser stabilizers and wavelength lockers, DWDM filter arrays, and dynamically tunable filter components and custom filter structures. Sabeus’ patented automated manufacturing process produces FBG components and arrays robotically to provide repeatable high quality products at low cost.
