"Saint Jude's makes finding help a reality for many individuals who are struggling financially due to substance use."
Amsterdam, NY (PRWEB) April 24, 2012
Saint Jude Retreats announces today that the organization has received an authentic and signed Buffalo Bills jersey of famously known quarterback Jim Kelly #12 from an anonymous donor. Saint Jude's will raffle the signed jersey to raise money for the Saint Jude's Scholarship Fund. The raffle will take place near the Saint Jude's headquarters on May 19, 2012 in Amsterdam, NY. The scholarship fund was established to assist individuals who cannot afford to attend St. Jude’s substance use program, an alternative to a drug and alcohol rehab program. Scholarship awards are need based and allow those who cannot afford to attend an alcohol and drug rehab program, get the help they need with substance use problems.
Unlike alcohol and drug treatment programs, Saint Jude's makes finding help a reality for many individuals who are struggling financially due to substance use. If an individual does not qualify for the scholarship program there are financing options to help as well. Saint Jude's aggressively wants to spread the word to those struggling with substance use problems that they can change their lives and they are not addicts or diseased, a solution is out there that works.
Tickets for the jersey are $5 per ticket or five tickets for $20 and may be purchased in advance or on the same day. For more information regarding the raffle call 1-518-842-2204.
