Saks Fifth Avenue Shakes Up New Contemporary Shops and offers Contemporary Week

It’s a big week at Saks Fifth Avenue, the Premier Houston Department store at Galleria, as the store celebrates both Contemporary Week for Men’s and Women’s contemporary looks as well as Beauty Week. Starting Thursday, September 27th, the Saks Fifth Avenue Contemporary shops will offer fun, interactive guests including DJs, Sean Hurley of Hurley denim, free yoga classes, photo booth and a gift with purchase. The new changes on the Men's Contemporary level at Saks Houston bring brand new shops and an atmosphere any man would welcome while shopping. To celebrate and to launch the Men’s Contemporary event, Saks will co-host with Houston Magazine an ISAIA Cocktail event Thursday September 27th from 6:30pm-8:30pm on level three and starting September 29th will offer "Saks Rocks" events every Saturday from 1:00pm-5:00pm starting September 29th with guest DJs beginning with DJ Gus T through to October 20th with DJ Joe Ross. Both the Men’s and Women’s Contemporary departments will also feature a Twitter contest with a chance to win a $100 Saks gift card. Additionally, if you spend $250 in either Men’s or Women’s Contemporary shops, receive a free AG Adriano Goldschmied iPhone 4/4S case as a free gift with purchase.

The new Men’s Contemporary department features the first Ferragamo shop of its kind, a new Burberry shop with expanded merchandise and a Mont Blanc shop, as well as the addition of new vendors in sportswear including Brioni Sportswear, Sand, Altea ,Valentino and CARR, designed by Houston local George Carr. Additionally, the men’s accessories area has been expanded of men’s bags, accessories, and sunglasses.

Additionally, Saks Fifth Avenue Men’s Collection has expanded with designs and styles from our best Italian designers. To enhance the shopping experience, the new bar, 12, also opened by men’s shoes on level three which offers a full bar, snack options and coffee. With the new shops, the 12 bar and accessory additions, Saks Fifth Avenue Houston shakes up the shopping experience for men allowing for a stylish and fun environment all focused on bringing great looks with simplistic ease. The Women’s Contemporary Week offers free yoga classes by Define Yoga Studios on Saturday and Sunday, Sean Hurley of Hurley denim, and an on-site demin alteration station as well as the free AG Adriano Goldschmied iPhone 4/4S case as a free gift with purchase.
