Miller Heiman Sales Team Makeover Begins Accepting Entries

One business-to-business sales organization will have the opportunity to improve its 2009 performance through Miller Heiman's Sales Team Makeover.

We want to show that, with the right processes in place, success is possible in any economy.

Miller Heiman has teamed up with Hoover's, Selling Power, and to offer one business-to-business sales organization the opportunity to improve its 2009 performance. The winning sales team, to be selected by a panel of Miller Heiman sales performance experts, will receive a complete diagnosis of sales challenges and an implementation of the solution that best meets the organization's needs.

"In today's economy, resources to support the sales team are less accessible, but leadership, management, and salespeople are still held accountable for producing results," said Elizabeth Vanneste, chief marketing officer for Miller Heiman. "We want to show that, with the right processes in place, success is possible in any economy."

In addition to diagnosis, process implementation and life-time support from Miller Heiman, the winning sales team will also receive a business intelligence subscription from Hoover's, customizable marketing software and consultation from, and a collection of sales performance resources from Selling Power magazine.

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for this Makeover:

  •      At least $10 million in annual revenue
  •      Sales team of 10-20 people, including sales support, salespeople and sales management
  •      Not in first year of operations
  •      Selling primarily in a business-to-business environment
  •      Complex customer buying process where three or more decision makers are involved in the sale.
