San Diego sees a rough game with Green Bay, as all Chargers tickets along with Green Bay Packers tickets have been reduced by 30% for the remainder of the season, using promo "WICKED" at TicketHunterOnline.com. Here is a quick rundown on San Diego's showing against undefeated Green Bay.
Greg Manusky, defensive coordinator for the Chargers, did a great work against Green Bay's QB, getting 4 sacks while forcing Rogers to run 5 other times to get gains. Mike Tolbert also had a good game, as in the first half alone he had 16 runs and catches. Antonio Gates certainly needs to be mentioned as well, as he contributed to the Chargers spirited comback quite a bit while having a foot injury.
Despite the all of the Chargers obvious talent this season, their only weak links have been in their cornerbacks - with Marcus Gilchrist bein scorched all day, Jammer getting flagged and beaten for costly penalties, and lets not forget the first rounf draft pick Corey Liuget spending the majority of the day on the bench. Liuget seems to be getting overwhelmed by the bigger left tackles - this is something that he is certainly not used to, and is becoming more and more apparent.
For the Charger's QB, Philip Rivers, he has certainly seen better days on the field then this past weekend. Rivers seemed to have lost his accuracy under pressure - he threw 3 interceptions, fumbled, suffered a sack, and threw the ball to unusual places (where receivers weren't open) for a veteran QB.
Rogers on the other hand, never let the San Diego rush bother him too much. Everytime he was sacked or pressured, shortly after was a completion.
