Bay Area residents hunting for a perfect Easter brunch are encouraged to hop into the San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront Hotel to enjoy delicious food with a side of fun for the kids – all at a reasonable price.

The Burlingame hotel will celebrate the holiday with a family-friendly meal at Hangar Steak from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 31, 2013, as well as offer a petting zoo, Easter egg hunt and pictures with the popular furry bunny to keep children entertained.

Diners will enjoy a carefully crafted buffet menu in the San Francisco waterfront hotel’s Hangar Steak. Designed by Executive Chef Dion Hawkins and his team of culinary experts, the meal will feature seafood, salad, carving, cheese and dessert stations packed with tasty offerings that can be appreciated in the sleek, modern American restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows framing exceptional views of San Francisco bay and the airport landing strip. Hawkins strongly believes in using the most locally sourced and seasonal ingredients for his masterpieces and will showcase them on Easter. The special holiday meal is priced at $56 for adults and $21 for children 6 to 12. Kids under 6 are free with a paying adult.

Whether desiring breakfast or lunch, diners will be able to sample an array of foods that surely will fill their baskets (or stomachs). Guests can start at the omelet station, where fresh eggs will be transformed into tasty creations and boasting a nice selection of vegetables and meats. Made-to-order waffles, plus hot entrees such as eggs benedict, French toast and stuffed sole Florentine, round out the breakfast offerings.

Family members seeking the freshest seafood around the bay can stop by a special station where smoked salmon, shrimp cocktail, Ahi tuna and Alaskan snow crab claws will be readily available. Diners can savor seared strip loin, Peking duck, roasted turkey breast, leg of lamb, pork loin, Cajun spiced chicken and Italian sausage from the carving station and indulge on charcuterie and artisan California cheeses.

The San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront Hotel, one of the premier hotels in Burlingame, plans to top off the meal with a variety of sweet desserts including chocolate fondue, strawberry shortcake and mini cupcakes.

After brunch, kids dressed in their Sunday best can smile big for a picture with their famous floppy-eared friend before paying a visit to the petting zoo on the San Francisco airport hotel’s patio that overlooks the bay and taking part in the large Easter egg hunt.
