With the new year here, it’s time to say goodbye to 2012 and welcome 2013 with an exciting smile and San Antonio has the events and cuisine to do it. Just as in previous years, San Antonio will be amongst one of the hottest tourist destinations because of everything the amazing city has to offer. San Antonio celebrates the new year with the annual U.S. Army All American Bowl, the nation’s premier high school, all-star football game, on January 5. The week before the big game takes place, the public is free to watch the football players practice at the Heroes Stadium or Blossom Athletic Center. On Thursday, January 3, there will be a U.S. Army All-American Bowl Kick-Off Party at the Grand Hyatt Hotel starting at 9 p.m. This is the time to really get pumped up for the game!

San Antonio Cocktail Conference. From January 17-20, enjoy the best cocktails San Antonio has to offer. Attend seminars, tastings and fancy cocktail parties. As well as hosting two huge events during the first month of 2013, San Antonio has so much to offer everyday, especially in the cuisine category.
