Beginning November 19, 2009, American Eagle Airlines will launch daily, roundtrip non-stop service from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Santa Fe Municipal Airport (SAF). The Residence Club at El Corazon de Santa Fe not only offers the affordable luxury of shared ownership, but its Southern California owners can now get to their vacation residences in just a couple of hours.
"We already have a few owners from California, and I expect that number to increase now that those owners will find travel to Santa Fe more convenient," says El Corazon's Development Manager Rob Harper of Dallas-based Unity Hunt. "El Corazon offers the most economical form of luxury second home ownership in downtown Santa Fe, and American Eagle's new service makes the Club even more attractive to prospective buyers from the Los Angeles area."
Flight 3156 departs LAX at 10:15 a.m. and lands in SAF at 1:15 p.m. The return flight from SAF is at 12:15 p.m. and arrives in LAX at 1:30 p.m.
Steve Lewis, spokesperson for the Santa Fe Convention & Visitors Bureau notes, "American Eagle's direct flight into Santa Fe from Dallas-Fort Worth made getting here a lot easier by eliminating the stop in Albuquerque and the drive from the airport. Santa Fe's municipal airport is close and convenient to anywhere in town so our second homeowners are spending more time on their property and less time on the road. We're sure the new service from Los Angeles will do the same."
El Corazon de Santa Fe is the city's first downtown private residence club, offering shared ownership with virtually unlimited use and personalized service, including concierge and daily housekeeping. Owners receive a one-eighth deeded interest in their residence, which can be sold, willed, or placed in a trust just like any other form of real estate. Fully furnished, two-bedroom residences start at $130,000.
El Corazon is within walking distance of the city's most popular attractions. The Club has partnered with local businesses who are offering up to 20 percent discounts to owners, making dining, golf, and spa treatments even more enjoyable for owners and guests.
