Big Ben Parliament Creations (BBP Creations) is working with Award-Winning Independent Filmmaker, Rich Simms, on their latest iPad app, “Santa’s Christmas Activity Book,” due to be released later this month.

BBP Creations has developed in-house iPhone and iPad apps for large companies and recently added a new division to their company to release apps to the public. Their first project, a joint venture with Rich Simms, is the first iPad app to be released from the company through the App Store.

“We are very excited to be working with Rich on this iPad app. Rich brings so much creativity and experience to this project that we were fortunate enough to have had the chance to work with him despite his busy schedule,” stated Aurelia Goodfellow, head of Marketing for BBP Creations.

Rich Simms is an accomplished artist and has worked in TV, independent films and feature films. He is also a 2D and 3D animator and has worked for 20th Century Fox on films such as “Anastasia” and “Titan AE”. Simms has also worked for Dreamworks on their premiere project, “Prince of Egypt”. In 1995, Simms won the Rochester Independent Film Festival in the Category of Animated Short Subject for his film, “The Letter.” The film was produced, written, directed and animated by Simms with a score by Hollywood composer, Brian Langsbard.

BBP Creations and Simms partnered up to release a Christmas app for kids. “Santa’s Christmas Activity Book” will premiere later this month on the App store. The app is designed for children ages 3+ and is fun for the whole family. The app features interactive activities such as decorating a Christmas tree, building a snowman, matching word games and writing a letter to Santa, which they can email and receive a response back from the North Pole. The iPad app will allow for users to either print or email their masterpieces to family and friends and has parental controls that help limit certain features of the app.

Simms has had a wonderful professional relationship with the driving force of BBP Creations, spanning several years, and is very excited to be working with them on this holiday project. “I was attempting to capture some of the “Spirit of Christmas” and it was a delight to communicate it through images,’ stated Simms, "I hope that warmth of the holidays is passed on to all who play and enjoy this interactive app."

For the last 3 years, BBP Creations has developed in-house applications for the iPhone, iPad and thumb drives for large corporations. They are known for their quality apps, creativity and thorough testing to create flawless applications.
