Grammy award winning songstress, Sarah McLachlan kicked off her 13 stop North American symphonic tour on a powerful note at the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto on June 22nd and continues to delight at her subsequent stops in Montreal and Shelburne, VT. Accompanied by the grandiose sounds of a full orchestra, McLachlan and her stratospheric vocal range are keeping fans mesmerized inspiring wave after wave of standing ovations. Each stop on her tour features a local symphony orchestra program that rotates players and arrangements nightly, a perfect accompaniment to McLachlan’s own four-piece band. Long time friends and married duo, Melissa McClelland and Luke Doucet lend their incredible talent to the show performing a solo song each night.
Sarah McLachlan adds, “It's so thrilling to have the immense power of the symphony surrounding my music like a rich, cinematic blanket."
After seeing her performance at The Centre de Nature in Montreal Quebec, The BuzzAbout.com tweeted, “Canadian Contributor reports the summer’s must see concert is @sarahmclachlan. Coming to the States soon, mesmerizingly brilliant.”
Toronto.com glowed “McLachlan sounded golden, confident and was beaming all night.” And the Toronto Sun raved “Her duo of Fear and Possession were vocally stunning, producing wave after wave of standing ovations.”
