Albany, CA (PRWEB) September 20, 2011
Sarber's Camera’s newest location at 1483 Solano Avenue in Albany, California and Tamron USA are hosting two end of September photography classes.
First, an intriguing seminar on outdoor and nature photography with Ken Hubbard. This photographer will explore the various ways of capturing the beauty of the outdoors. Ken deftly demonstrates simple techniques to developing an eye for an expressive photograph while in the great outdoors. Get great tips on both the technical use of the camera and lens and the creative way of looking at your subject to achieve stunning images. Ken Hubbard has an extensive background in equipment technology and imaging. In 2001, Ken turned his lenses toward the American landscape, traveling extensively throughout the United States. Though he had never confined his photography to one genre, it was during this time that he realized the expressive potential and beauty of landscape photography. The results were a consistent output of breathtaking photographs that continually challenged the boundaries of the genre; a snow-covered buffalo staring ominously out of the frame, surreal rock forms in Joshua National Park that appear as if out of a sci-fi film, innumerable variations in light spilling through the depths of Antelope Canyon. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to learn from a true photography expert. This seminar costs $30 with advance registration and will be taught from 4pm-6pm, Saturday, September 24th. It doesn’t matter if you have never taken photography classes or stepped foot in a camera store before; beginners are welcome.
On September 25th, spend the day at the Day In The Redwoods with Tamron event. Tamron will provide a full selection of lenses for you to use and play. If you have been interested in landscape or outdoor photography, this seminar will give you a broad brush of the many types of effects you can create with different lens settings and selections. This event is an awesome way to enjoy a unique photographic experience with spectacular views and forest landscapes. The fee to attend this event is $60 with advanced registration and will be located in Redwood Regional Park- 7867 Redwood Road, Oakland, CA.
