Sashco Sealants Supports Independent Retailers with Decision to Hire Charles Hunter, New Rocky Mountain Sales Rep

Contrary to present inclinations in the industry, Sashco Sealants, manufacturer of caulks and sealants for conventional construction, hires a new Denver based rocky mountain sales rep, Charles Hunter, to service customers in territories extending from Kansas City to Seattle.

Charles' previous experience and knowledge of the home improvement and sales industries will be of great value to our customers as he represents Sashco.

Contrary to present inclinations in the industry, Sashco Sealants , manufacturer of caulks and sealants for conventional construction, hires a new Denver based rocky mountain sales rep, Charles Hunter, to service customers in territories extending from Kansas City to Seattle.

"We made a very public commitment 20 years ago and stand by it today with our 'You Can't Buy Them at Home Depot' pledge to support the independent hardware, lumber and building material supply, and other independently owned home improvement retail stores. We've remained faithful to that commitment during up times, as well as down times. Sashco is very cognizant of the struggle many of those independents' face in the current economic climate, we want to support them any way we can. We feel confident that Charles Hunter will offer a fresh, new level of service, and can present innovative ideas and solutions to help our customers prosper both through these times, as well as in the days ahead," explained Sashco's national sales manager, Steve Holland, in response to the decision to continue hiring despite sharp downturns in the building and construction industries.

Sashco Sealants evaded the decline in growth that plagued almost every other competitor across-the-board this year. When asked why they believed that to be true, Sashco attributed a confidence in maintaining and building a strong sales team as one "very strong" contributing factor. Holland stated that, "We are thrilled and humbled to be in a position to be able to continue recruiting employees to Sashco with Charles' caliber of experience and knowledge. Charles' previous experience and knowledge of the home improvement and sales industries will be of great value to our customers as he represents Sashco."

Prior to joining the Sashco team, Charles Hunter worked at Mighty Auto Parts, where he started as a sales/service representative doing route sales, but with strong initiative and skills, Charles soon worked his way up to Operations and Sales Manager. He later won national salesman of the year, as well as national top new sales two years in a row. He served at Mighty Auto Parts for 12 years. Charles and his brother then purchased their father's rep agency where they served as independent reps for several large home improvement lines.
