Toshiba Expands AMD Portfolio with Addition of 17-Inch Laptop

Toshiba's Digital Products Division (DPD), a division of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., today announced the expansion of its AMD-based suite of notebook computers with launch of the Satellite(R) P205D, featuring AMD's leading-edge processor and graphics technology for enhanced computing capabilities and graphics.

Performance-minded individuals that require the use of multiple applications simultaneously, demand longer battery life and require reliable wireless Internet will certainly notice the benefits from the AMD Turion technology.

    This desktop replacement is available in such configurations as the Satellite P205D-S7479 and Satellite P205D-S7438, which are equipped with the latest AMD Turion(TM) 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology Gold Edition TL-64 processor(1) and AMD Athlon(TM) 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor TK-55 processor(1) respectively. Each processor is designed for mobility and is loaded with a suite of advanced features designed to increase productivity while conserving energy. Customers can also choose to upgrade their notebook's limited warranty for up to four years of extended service.
