Saunders Introduces PINK Products To Support City of Hope's Breast Cancer Program

For years Saunders has dedicated itself to “Going Green.” Now, in addition to our environmentally friendly green efforts, Saunders is going PINK! From February 2011 to February 2012, Saunders will offer two new pink products, and will donate a portion of the sale to the Breast Cancer Program at City of Hope, one of the nation’s leading research, treatment and education centers for cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

Both products perfectly compliment Saunders current product line. The light pink clipboard with a high capacity clip and ruler edges is made in the United States of recycled materials. This product retails at $7.45, and Saunders will donate 25¢ per clipboard sold. The pink SlimMate features a slim storage compartment and is made in the United States. This product retails at $12.80, and Saunders will donate 50¢ per storage clipboard sold. Both products are assembled in Mississippi by Adults with Disabilities.

“Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in women today, and Saunders is committed to helping those affected by this illness,” says Tracy Kastning, Marketing Manager. According to the American Cancer Society, in 2010 there were more than 207,000 new cases of breast cancer in the U.S. While the exact cause for breast cancer is unknown, institutions like City of Hope have been leading with innovative research and new therapies to help patients, and have been pioneering research to find cures and preventions for nearly 100 years.
