SBA Endorsement Retraction

A retraction to an earlier release stating that the SBA endorsed a private enterprise's service. In this fast paced world innocent errors occur and need to be made right.

We work hard to meet all government policies and sometimes in this fast paced world a minor error occurs, such as the case of the SBA endorsement and we want to make that right by stating that the SBA does not endorse private enterprise ventures.

In an earlier release, SoCalBizOps, a Southern California company that writes Certified Business Plans (http://www.certifiedbusinessplan.com) for small to medium sized businesses stated that it was endorsed by the SBA.

This statement was in error as the SBA, a government agency does not endorse any private company. Even though SoCalBizOps Certified Business Plan™ does meet all of the SBA's stringent requirements and surpasses many of them it cannot be endorsed by a government agency.

Tony Smith, CEO of SoCalBizOps and creator of the Certified Business Plan™ had this to say about the error, "We strive to meet and exceed all requirements of government business agencies and those of major financial institutions in the creation of Certified Business Plans™ for our clients. Although we are endorsed by many private financial institutions and venture capital organizations, it was in error that we stated that the SBA endorses our Certified Business Plan™." Mr. Smith further stated that, "We work hard to meet all government policies and sometimes in this fast paced world a minor error occurs, such as the case of the SBA endorsement and we want to make that right by stating that the SBA does not endorse private enterprise ventures."
