After devoting extensive time and energy into establishing Senior Care Authority, we are now sharing our knowledge with others so that they can help families in their respective communities.

Senior Care Authority, a family owned and operated business founded by Frank Samson, has set up a consulting and membership division, SCAnetwork, which assists individuals with establishing, owning and operating a full-service senior placement service. SCAnetwork membership is open to those new to senior placement and individuals or companies who are already involved in the senior care industry. Examples include In-Home Care companies or Senior Move Managers who would benefit from adding placement services to their existing operation.

Senior placement services provide assistance to help identify the best location for seniors to live at no cost to families. These locations can range from independent senior communities to smaller residential care homes to memory care facilities. SCAnetwork simplifies the otherwise daunting process of looking for assisted living and other care services, saving families time and money while helping to eliminate the stress associated with this transition.

When launching Senior Care Authority, Samson set up the company at his home and serviced two counties in the community. In less than two years, the organization set up a commercial office, hiring very knowledgeable advisors and now services seven counties in the area. “After devoting extensive time and energy into establishing Senior Care Authority, we are now sharing our knowledge with others so that they can help families in their respective communities. SCAnetwork is an effective tool to help accomplish this,” he said.

“At the same time, SCAnetwork will provide individuals with the skills and knowledge to work independently when assisting seniors and their families,” Samson says. He also believes that the companies that just email lists of locations to family members are providing a great disservice. “Families are commonly under a lot of stress when making these type decisions, and they like to know people are involved face-to-face, who have knowledge of the facilities and care homes while providing the guidance and input needed,” he added.

Senior Care Authority has fine-tuned every aspect of its senior placement agency operation and has documented these “best practices” for the benefit of its new members. Documenting everything from the planning process to the implementation process and making available to new members at their option saves significant time and money in setting up this unique senior care business. “The beauty of SCAnetwork is that it allows individuals to avoid reinventing the wheel. I can say confidently from experience that it is not a wheel I would want to reinvent. If I had SCAnetwork to assist me throughout the process when I started out, I would have accomplished what I have in less time and at significantly less cost,” said Samson.
