“This product will allow IT Departments to lockdown their systems and comply with the rigors of Sarbanes Oxley. Consumerization is occurring throughout the enterprise space. People are doing work on their personal devices,” stated McNealy.

Scott McNealy, former Sun Microsystems Founder and CEO took a hard look at Secure Computing Environments game changing technology and liked what he saw.

So much so, he joined the Advisory Board of SCE as a Special Adviser to the Chairman, effective immediately.

“This product will allow IT Departments to lockdown their systems and comply with the rigors of Sarbanes Oxley. Consumerization is occurring throughout the enterprise space. People are doing work on their personal devices,” stated McNealy.

Scott McNealy is one of the legendary characters of Silicon Valley. Oracle completed its $7.4 billion acquisition of Sun in February of 2010. Sun was the fastest company ever to reach the $1billion dollar sales level doing so in six years. Sun went on to generate over $200 billion in revenue.

“We welcome the insights and direction that McNealy brings to SCE’s board. His reputation and track record are unparalleled in U.S. business,” said Dr. Doug Stone, Major General US Marines Retired.

The Protocol (SCE’s flagship product) allows people to use their consumer devices inside the enterprise while still meeting a corporations security and SOX compliance by moving the locked down security environment off the client device and into the ProtocolTM, allowing IT organizations to provide a configuration managed secure environment on the USB drive, rather than on the client device.

Corporations can move from trying to lock down and lock out client devices, to managing and locking down the corporate data and environment on the USB device. This gives employees the maximum flexibility to work on any device while keeping the corporate data secure and reducing the overall IT infrastructure cost for the corporation.
