Eze Castle Integration, Inc., a leading provider of strategic IT solutions and private cloud services to the investment industry, today announced the promotion of Steve Schoener, former senior vice president, client technology, to chief technology officer. As CTO, Schoener will guide the company’s long-term technology strategy and oversee operations to achieve new levels of performance, product innovation and organizational synergy on a global scale.

Schoener is a respected industry expert with more than 15 years of experience rooted in hedge fund technology, straddling both the financial and IT sectors. Prior to joining Eze Castle, he held progressive leadership roles as head of IT for DW Investment Management and earlier as an associate director for UBS Investment Bank. He has been a driving force behind Eze Castle’s successful development of revolutionary cloud technology and the simplification of IT convolutions across big data, mobility, disaster recovery and security. In his new role, Schoener will continue the legacy of developing next generation technology solutions that empower businesses to optimize IT resources and meet investor demands.

Managing Director William Tan, who previously held the CTO role, has transitioned into the position of chief security officer and chief compliance officer for Eze Castle. Tan will focus on ensuring the security and privacy of the company’s infrastructure and its customers’ sensitive data through maintaining regulatory compliance and optimal security principles. Conjoining the roles of CSO and CCO, coupled with managerial oversight, will improve the delivery of services and open the channels of efficient technology, policymaking and cyber security risk management.

“A technology visionary, Steve has grasped the challenges and opportunities of the ever-evolving IT landscape, helping the company to expand our international footprint,” said John Cahaly, CEO of Eze Castle Integration. “Steve and Bill’s keen understanding of our clients and their environments will be critical in propelling the company’s next phase of growth and enhancing user experience. As seasoned leaders with distinguished track records of success, I am confident they will thrive in their elevated roles.”
