During the first week of school, Ms. Yarahmad’s students made a rocket, and with the help of a car battery, blasted a collection of rockets 300 feet up into the air! A simple aerodynamics lesson resulted in our students also learning teamwork, critical thinking and listening skills, not to mention the excitement of seeing their invention launched into space. I am excited to see what she will do during the second week of school.” Ms. Yarahmad will also be leading one of our Enrichment classes, the newly-formed Robotics Club.
