Creative Classroom Publishing Program Helps Schools Raise Funds, Encourages Creativity and Literacy
I-Proclaim.com has announced the start of a new program called Creative Classroom that has students, of any age, using their creativity to draw or compose pieces to be published in professionally produced classroom anthologies.
There is absolutely no cost to the school. Schools successfully use Creative Classroom as a fundraiser that involves minimal effort and virtually no paperwork.
Creative Classroom encourages students to write and be creative by providing students with an exciting, clearly defined goal: their work professionally published in a tangible product that is a direct result of their creative hard work. Participation instills the love of reading and writing at an early age--a valuable trait that will last a lifetime.
Creative pieces can be a result of a themed classroom assignment or random creative pieces. Poetry, short stories, essays or artwork are common choices.
Once completed, teachers send the creative pieces to I-Proclaim along with a cover suggestion, generally a group photo of the students, and descriptive information for inclusion on the back of the book.
Upon receipt of the material, I-Proclaim designs a completed book, and in six to eight weeks, sends the school two complimentary hardbound, printed copies. One for the classroom and one for the school library.
Then, the book is made available for purchase, as both a hardbound and paperback book, on-line at the I-Proclaim bookstore. The book is also available in environmentally friendly e-book format for viewing on smart phones and computers.
Orders for the book are taken and shipped directly to Moms, Dads, Grandma, Grandpa, aunts and uncles no matter where they might be. I-Proclaim Creative Classroom provides informational flyers, posters and creative e-mail copy that schools can use to help market the book.
A portion of all sales are returned to the school. There is absolutely no cost to the school. Schools successfully use Creative Classroom as a fundraiser that involves minimal effort and virtually no paperwork. There are no orders to collect or distribute and no checks to tabulate.
To participate in the program or receive more information, teachers and administrators can call 866-887-7654, e-mail ofairley@dorrancepublishing.com or visit http://i-proclaim.com/creative-classroom.asp .
