New Scientology and Dianetics Groups Established in Haiti
Scientology and Dianetics groups are forming in the Republic of Haiti, inspired by a series of seminars on the book Self Analysis by L. Ron Hubbard.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 12, 2009 -- A team of Scientology volunteers from Florida, working in conjunction with Scientologists from Haiti, trained more than 300 people to use the religious technology contained in the book Self Analysis by L. Ron Hubbard.
The Scientologists held seminars in Cap-Haïtien and the nation's capital, Port Au Prince. Those attending learned how to use Self Analysis to help themselves and others, and gained experience in the use of the technology.
Haitians not only were the first Caribbean people to gain their independence, Haiti is the only nation to have gained independence through a slave rebellion. But the 21st Century finds most Haitians in a kind of economic slavery, with more than two-thirds of the labor force unemployed and 80% living in poverty. The Scientology volunteers decided to do something about this by restoring pride, self-confidence and ability to the people of the island through the religious technology in Self Analysis.
These seminars have inspired the establishment of more than 30 new Dianetics and Scientology groups in Haiti whose members continue to use Self Analysis to help themselves and one another.
