On its sixth year, the Runway Run at Toronto Pearson managed to raise $150,000 in support of Toronto Pearson’s Community Investment Program, a program designed to give back to the communities that surround the airport.
Score Promotions was proud to serve as an official supplier of the annual charity event, sending participants home with a treasure trove of promotional products and souvenirs.
As a reward for the community’s fundraising efforts, the Toronto Pearson organizing committee handed out medals, bags, lanyards, T-shirts, grab bags, water bottles and more following the event. Score Promotions emblazoned the promotional items with Toronto Pearson’s logo and colours, and has since received overwhelmingly positive feedback.
The 2013 edition of the Toronto Pearson Runway Run hosted more than 2,600 members from the community, and is being hailed by organizers as the most successful in the event’s six-year history. Every June, participants run for 5km or walk for 2km along an airport runway, which temporarily closes to aircraft.
Score Promotions already supports a culture of health and physical activity in its Toronto headquarters, so partnering with Toronto Pearson for the Runway Run was a natural fit. Following the success and enthusiasm of its first foray into the event, Score Promotions is already looking forward to supplying promotional products and building even greater awareness of Runway Run in 2014.
