On May 30, Empire Digital Products CEO, Scott Brodsky, comments on the recent rise of optimism amongst small business owners across the country.
According to the CNBC.com article, small business owners are still cautious but are definitely feeling more optimistic. These were findings from a recent survey carried out by the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB). The NFIB was founded in 1943 and is America’s leading small-business advocacy association. Their mission is to promote and protect your right to own, operate and grow your business. The nonprofit organization is comprised of 350,000 small and independent business owners across the nation.
As of last month, the NFIB’s Index of Small Business Optimism rose 2.6 points from 89.5 to 92.1. The Index is compiled of 1,873 NFIB members. The index has averaged at 90.7 since the recession.
The article goes on to say that “owners picked up their hiring pace slightly during April which is the fifth-straight gain, and the number planning to add jobs rose 6 points.
Empire Digital Products CEO, Scott Brodsky, is happy to see this statistic and believes it correlates well with the rejuvenation of the country’s economy. “Because of the recession, our economy and its future have definitely been a bit shaky. However, we are on an obvious rebound and I’m happy to see that small business owners are feeling confident about their decisions and the futures of their respective businesses and companies. Entrepreneurship is very rewarding and those who decide to delve into it should be proud of their accomplishments and feel secure in what they’re doing.”
Empire Digital Products is currently one of the most well respected copier dealerships in New York. Their dual focus is on reducing overhead and enhancing document workflow. With the best service department in the industry and a very capable staff it is no wonder Empire has met with such success.
