Award winning publisher of tourism print properties to offer innovative community-based marketing service.

Offering a digital signage network is a natural next step for Imageworks

Imageworks Communication Group announced today their choice of ScreenScape as platform provider for their own digital signage network. The announcement introduces Imageworks as a ScreenScape-certified Affiliate Partner with access to the rapidly growing ScreenScape Community. Certified ScreenScape Affiliates acquire access to the technology needed to firmly establish their own network of trusted venues with whom they can partner to offer unique marketing services.

At the time of the announcement Imageworks also identified four organizations that will represent participating venues their network - all of which are already live and operational:  The Prince Edward Island Liquor Control Commission, Capital Area Recreation Inc., Murphy's Restaurants, and Confederation Bridge.

"Offering a digital signage network is a natural next step for Imageworks," says Imageworks President Jeff Squires.  "Building on our strengths in creative marketing and our leadership in the tourism industry we will now be able to offer our customers a new and innovative way to reach a target audience in the venues where our community gathers. To participating venues we will be offering a valuable revenue-generating service that can at the same time offer tremendous utility. ScreenScape was the clear choice for us as technology provider given it's Internet-based approach, simplicity and low-cost".

Pundits have described ScreenScape as "Web 2.0 digital signage", as it combines professional display authoring tools with the content sharing principles and techniques of social media. As a ScreenScape-certified Affiliate Partner, Imageworks will have the ability to instantly distribute advertising content to the screens operated by its participating members.  Alongside this distribution capability, each member individually can create and manage their own content and tailor it to their local audience.

"We are thrilled to have Imageworks as our newest partner on Canada's East Coast" remarked ScreenScape President and CEO Kevin Dwyer.  "They illustrate how a business with real marketing-savvy can leverage its traditional assets and established relationships by using ScreenScape to create a powerful new service offering.  We're excited to see Imageworks' publishing expertise unleashed through this new medium.
