Family-owned and -operated Alioto's Restaurant, a San Francisco seafood restaurant, is excited to announce its specials and events. During the upcoming holiday season, locals and tourists can indulge in a Thanksgiving prix-fixe menu in Alioto's scenic dining room, enjoy the return of the Complete Dinner, partake in Crab Fest 2012, and celebrate the beginning of crab season.

With the start of crab season on Nov. 15, Alioto's Restaurant is bringing back The Complete Dinner, offered daily from 4 p.m. until closing. For only $9.75, guests choose from a selection of appetizers and desserts to pair with one of Alioto's delicious family entrees.

"Our family restaurant has been involved in crab season since 1925, and has been celebrating the holidays and crab season for more than 85 years. To this day, we've enjoyed serving San Franciscans fresh, locally caught seafood. As the oldest restaurant on Fisherman's Wharf, we've perfected our Sicilian family recipes to include seasonal ingredients from the Bay Area," Matt Violante, general manager of Alioto's Restaurant, said.

Alioto’s is also featuring a special, prix-fixe Thanksgiving dinner on Nov. 22. The menu is available for lunch and dinner for $29.75, with a la carte options available for under $25. Menu items include turkey and many delicious side dishes.

On Dec. 9, from 12 to 3 p.m., Alioto's is participating in 2012 Crab Fest with 10 other sustainable seafood restaurants on Fisherman's Wharf. Crab Fest will feature a variety of delicious crab dishes that are sourced locally, all proceeds of which are then donated to the San Francisco Firefighters Toy Program and the San Francisco Police Department Youth Fishing Program. A local, sustainable winery will be present at Crab Fest to educate guests on organic winemaking.
