Sean Young, who has been acting in more than 50 international movies, has now with her directorial debut; "Dating in LA" made a very dark, twisted and funny film about a woman that after an abusive marriage and total failure in the bar scene in LA now is trying desperately to find true love.

Brenda (Sean Young) who is in her late forties has tried everything to find the man of her dreams, but so far failed at every attempt. Her last resort she feels is deception as she believes that only young or successful people have a chance at the dating scene. Brenda is neither young nor successful. Thereby in her last desperate course of action she posts a 20 year old picture of herself on an internet dating site, stating she is now only 25 years old, as well as claiming that she lives in a house in Beverly Hills, while she in reality lives in a one bedroom in Culver City. She then hunts for young male victims living out of state that have to fly in. Her strategy is that if they have come that far then they might as well just give in to her. At her lowest point she also starts drugging the "dates,” taking her on a dark and unethical journey where she is willing to risk everything to get what she wants.
