Lexity, the provider of automated advertising for SMB retailers, has just released their co-developed search engine marketing (SEM) extension for X.commerce, an eBay Inc. company. Through the integration with X.commerce, merchants on Magento, a leading eCommerce platform provider with over 110,000 merchants worldwide and now a part of X.commerce, have the ability to take advantage of Lexity’s advertising extension. This capability enables merchants to achieve superior revenue generation from pay per click advertising such as Google AdWords, while both minimizing campaign management time and giving merchants control over program elements.
Lexity’s X.commerce extension utilizes the product catalog and order history from Magento to create ads and keywords for one-click approval by the merchant and subsequent onboarding into Google AdWords. Once the campaign is live, by using sophisticated algorithms Lexity’s bid management system automatically optimizes keyword bidding. Lexity also generates additional keywords for approval based on orders pulled from Magento merchants, through X.commerce.
“Lexity’s SEM extension gives merchants an easy and effective way to drive traffic to their sites. We are very excited to have them aboard the X.commerce platform and available to Magento merchants,” says Jeff King, head of strategy and partnerships at X.commerce.
“At Lexity we are all about helping small businesses maximize their marketing capabilities and increase sales,” said Amit Kumar, CEO of Lexity. “The SEM extension now enables X.commerce merchants to grow their sales with minimal effort and lots of control.”
